Public bulletin of the meeting of the Central Election Committee of ISYY on 5.10.2023

The candidate nomination period of the Representative Council elections of ISYY, which are held on the 8th of November 2023, ended on the 5th of October 2023 at 3 pm. After that, the Central Election Committee which was elected by the Representative Council had a meeting as the ISYY election rules state.

At its meeting, the Central Election Committee stated that by the deadline there were 117 candidate approvals and 9 candidate lists submitted.

The Election Committee approved 111 candidate approvals and 8 candidate lists.

The Election Committee rejected two candidate approvals because the nominees were not eligible for the elections.

The Election Committee decided to ask one candidate list, ISYYn Vihreä lista - The Green list of ISYY, to clarify its name and its final list of candidates.

The Election Committee decided to conditionally approve the following candidates, because the representative of the candidate list had not confirmed their nomination:

• Yusuf Abdulgafar
• Nissinen Mikko

The Election Committee decided to conditionally approve the following candidates, because the names they used need clarification:

• Tiirismaa Kalle
• Kerkkä Mari

Conditionally accepted nominees and lists have until 9 October 12 pm (noon) to complete their approvals and the suggestion for the candidate list.
