Fair Trade Week 25.–31.10.2021

Fairtrade week is celebrated on week 43 25.–31.10. 2021. Also University of Eastern Finland in participating the week together with Compass Groups and Student Union at both university campuses. This year 2021 theme is Climatechange. Campaign week is reminding us, how we all can influence with our own responsible shopping choices. As a Fairtrade University,
university and Student Union are using Fairtrade coffee and tee in our catering and there are several Fairtrade products on spare at univeristy’s restaurants.

University encourages our staff and students to make little actions for environment for example by choocing responsibly cultivated Fairtrade products. Even small acts has a fair size impact!

On Fairtrade week we have

• Fairtrade products on spare at campus restaurants
• Fairtrade Icetea tasting 27.10.
• Fair Coffeebrake 28.10. on campuses or on remote work/studing
• Recipe competition with Fairtrade products for staff and students, the best recipe will be awarded!
• Popular ‘Spot the Fairtrade banana on campuses’ FB-photo competition, the best picture will be rewarded
