The Representative Council of the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) elected an Executive Board and Representative Council chairpersons for the year 2021.
Vesa Janhunen was elected as the chairperson of the Executive Board of the Student Union (ISYY). Janhunen is studying Business on the Kuopio campus at the University of Eastern Finland. Janhunen has acted in 2020 as a Chair of Preemio ry.
The nine other members of the Executive Board are: Vice chairperson Sami Tanskanen, Pauliina Ryökäs, Jimi Viita-aho, Jenni Kortelainen, Eveliina Scharin, Pavel Kipriianov, Enni Toiviainen, Juuso Myller and Petra Peltola.
The term of office of the Executive Board begins in January and lasts through the calendar year. The new Executive Board comes to order at its meeting before the end of the year.
Ella Partanen was elected as the new Chairperson of the Student Union. Riku Kiviluoto was elected as the first Vice Chairperson of the Representative Council, and Salli Kosonen was elected as the second Vice Chairperson.
