Student card distribution begun

Student card deliveries have begun after some trouble starting things up. The first students have already received their cards and roughly 7,000 orders have been sent to the printing press. Cards will be printed in accordance with the order time, so students who ordered first will also receive their card first. In other words, please be patient – your card’s on the way!

The student card order system was changed during the summer and the new system has been in use for the first time this fall of 2013. At the beginning of these sorts of projects things tend to happen, and this case was no exception. After lack of progess due to technical difficulties and mishaps, the process is now operating smoothly and the printing press is working at maximum capacity. Frank, ISYY, and system service providers Elisa and Uni-IT apologize deeply for the additional wait and trouble.

Please note that if you have ordered your student card with the payment option, it will be mailed directly to your home. If you ordered the card without the payment method, you may pick it up at ISYY’s campus offices, where cards have begun to arrive. Your card’s order status can be seen by following the link found in your order confirmation email. Once the card is in “Production”, it has been sent to the printing press and will most probably arrive within a few days, depending on the time of ordering your card.
