The Representative Council for the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) elected new chairpersons and ISYY’s Executive Board for the year 2015 in its meeting on Friday 5.12.2014.
Noora Kettunen from Joensuu campus was re-elected as the Chairperson of the Council of Representatives. She has been responsible for the Recreation and Development Cooperation in ISYY’s Executive Board in 2013. Mari Puurula from Kuopio campus was elected as the 1st Vice-chair and Anu Arosanervo from Joensuu campus as the 2nd Vice-chair.
Juho Pulkka from Kuopio campus was elected as the new Chairperson of ISYY’s Executive Board. Pulkka has been in ISYY’s Executive Board and also the Chair of the Kuopio Campus Board this year. Other Executive Board members for the year 2015 are Tuomas Hiltunen, Roope Pellinen, Sami Gabbouj, Arshad Haroon, Heljä Hietala, Maria Jauhiainen, Antti Kurronen and Piia Tiainen.
The term of the Executive Board starts on 1.1.2015 and will last a calendar year. The new Executive Board has its organising meeting in its first meeting.
