The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland organises Culture Afternoon on Wednesday the 18th of April. Purpose of the Culture Afternoon is to bring different culture operators closer to the students! These culture operators, associations and other sort of parties will introduce themselves at the campus during 10am to 2pm at Carelia lobby.
In addition to this, the cooperation partners will organise programme for the evening at the campus cities. Please notice that some programmes may require enrolment in advance!
Programme for the evening:
Dance School Dream organises two pole dance lessons. You can have coupons from the Carelia lobby, and by showing them the lesson cost five euros.
Movie theater of Joensuu has discounts, student tickets to 2D-movies 7€ and 3D-movies 9€.
In the city theatre of Joensuu you can see a children’s play’s rehearsal for free. The play starts 6.30 pm, please be at the theatre at 6.15pm.
Dance academy of Joensuu organises two dance lessons, hip hop for beginners and vogue for beginners. Enrolment in advance till friday 13th of April with email: joensuuntanssiopisto@gmail.com.
Prices: 3€ one lesson, 5€ both. Hip hop lesson from 5pm to 6pm, vogue lesson from 6pm to 7pm.
Street dance society of Joensuu organises two open dance workshops at Lyseo High School gymnasium. Prices: 5€ per lesson. House lesson 5:45 pm till 6:45 pm. Hip hop lesson 6:45 till 7:45.
Culture Afternoon Afterparty at Kerubi
Kerubi’s Overall-disco is back and brings the best student crazy party atmosphere to Joensuu’s nightlife! Free entry and cloakroom with ESN-student card or student overall to this event filled up with student friendly vibes and pure epicness. This time we also celebrate official after parties of university’s culture day!
