The new Executive Board of the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) has appointed working sectors among the Board members in its meeting on 18th of December 2014.
Sectors for the year 2015 are:
Juho Pulkka (Kuopio): Chairman, Chairperson of Kuopio Campus Board
Tuomas Hiltunen (Joensuu): First Vice Chair, Chairperson of the Joensuu Campus Board, Environmental Affairs
Roope Pellinen (Savonlinna): Second Vice Chair, Chairperson of the Savonlinna Campus Board, Recreation
Sami Gabbouj (Kuopio): Communications and Business Relations (Savo)
Arshad Haroon (Kuopio): International Affairs and Student Tutoring (international students)
Heljä Hietala (Joensuu): Employment and Business Relations (Karjala)
Maria Jauhiainen (Joensuu): Academic Affairs, (learning) environment
Antti Kurronen (Joensuu): International Affairs and Student Tutoring
Piia Tiainen (Kuopio): Affairs of Social Policy and Development Cooperation

The Board has started the year 2015 by planning of the activities for the coming year. This is done according to the Action Plan 2015, which was passed by the Representative Council in November. This year ISYY’s focus lies among others on influencing work in the parliamentary elections and in the Elections for the Representative Council.
