ISYY’s Council of Representatives decided on Uljas’ future: Uljas will continue running as before

ISYY’s Council of Representatives decided on its meeting 5/2013 on 9.11. that the SU’s newspaper Uljas will continue to be published also in the future regardless of its deficit.

The Executive Board of the Student Union presented ISYY’s representative council a model according to which Uljas would no longer have been published as a printed or as an electronic version, but instead all of ISYY’s communications had been integrated into one single web portal. The model presented as well as Uljas’ future raised a lot of debate amongst the Student Union. The decision made by the representative council will now bring an end to the discussion about the newspaper’s future.
