The Student Union of University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) is organizing a band contest in co-operation with the University of Eastern Finland (UEF).
You can participate in the contest if you or one of your band members are members of the Student Union or university faculty. The contest closes on 14th of May. Send your recording as a link to tuutorointi@isyy.fi. No attachments! You can also bring or send a physical copy to any of the Student Union offices. Recordings will not be returned. Music can represent any genre.
The prize for the competition is an opportunity to perform at Kampusrysäys event on the 3rd of September on Joensuu campus or 4th of September on Kuopio campus. There are also some other smaller prizes. Last year, the Kampusrysäys event had some 1,400 participants. By entering the competition, your band agrees to perform at the Kampusrysäys in case it wins. Please disclose, if you wish to participate only on one campus.
The winners will be selected on the second week of June and they will be contacted personally.
