The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) calls for two student representatives and two deputies for the University of Eastern Finland Equal Opportunities Committee for year 2020.
The University Equal Opportunities Committee oversees and directs the education and employer obligation required by the Equality Act to promote equality in their activities. The Equal Opportunities Committee will draw up an equality program for the University of Eastern Finland and monitor its progress and implementation. The Equal Opportunities Committee also makes proposals and initiatives to the university's management and staff on how to promote equality in UEF’s operations.

Eligible for membership of the Equal Opportunities Committee is a person who has the right to complete a lower or higher university degree, or a postgraduate scientific degree at the University of Eastern Finland.
Experience in equality work and interest in equality and equality work is considered to be an advantage for the applicant.
