The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland ISYY is looking for volunteers to work as sports tutors in Kuopio and Savonlinna.
Are you good at motivating other people? Do you enjoy working in a group and guiding others? If that sounds like you, go on and apply to become a sports tutor for the UEF Student Union (ISYY)!
Sports tutors are volunteers who organise activities for small groups of students. The main goal is to have fun and to make sports accessible to all. In order to become a sports tutor you do not have to be an athlete or even a sports lover. The purpose of this programme is to encourage students to get moving, get them to try new forms of exercise and to have fun together above all. We will provide you with training and guarantee you will have lots of fun while doing a good deed.
Sports tutors are expected to organise three sports turns and one extra sports try-out lesson per academic term. Sports tutor will receive technical t-shirts, overalls badge and testimonials from tutoring. In Kuopio, sports tutors will receive group exercise class package per term they are tutoring and in Savonlinna, Student Union will organise an end of tutoring event.
Application deadline is 5.9.2014 at 12pm.
