The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) is an organisation that looks after the rights and interests of the students studying at the University of Eastern Finland. We operate both in Joensuu and Kuopio and all students doing their Master’s or Bachelor’s degree studies at UEF are our members. At the moment, we have approximately 13.300 members. Membership of the Student Union is stated in law.
In addition to interest advocacy of our members, we organise recreational activities, such as events, as well as sport services via the SYKETTÄ sports services. We also offer our members a student community, the actions of which you are warmly welcomed to join, for example sections and clubs. As a Student Union member, you can also use the health care services of FSHS, travel and food discounts and many other benefits with your student card.
