The University Collegiate Body consists of eight student members and their personal deputy members. In addition to students, there are eight professors and eight members of other personnel in the Collegiate Body.
Board of Directors of a FSHS unit convenes approximately 2 times per year and processes the realization of FSHS’s strategy, follows indicators of the patient safety and the patient satisfaction and unit’s economy and processes other principled important matters.
The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland calls for one (1) student vice member to the University Collegiate Body of the University of Eastern Finland and (1) member Board of Directors of FSHS Joensuu unit. The term of the both members ends at the end of the year 2019.

To be eligible for the position of a student representative of the university one must be an attending student that has the right to graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master of Science academic degree or Licentiate or Doctoral post-graduate degree in the University of Eastern Finland. A person that is employed by the university with working hours exceeding 50 percent is not allowed to apply for a position in a student group to the university organ. To be eligible for the position of a student representative of the board of FSHS unit one must has a right to graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master of Science academic degree.
The application must be returned the latest on 26th of October at 12.00 am to the specialist of academical and societal affairs (Kuopio) Mikko Aaltonen to the address koso@isyy.fi
The candidate to body of collegiate will be elected by the board of ISYY and will be confirmed at the Representative Council meeting on the 21st of November or 4th of December 2018. The member of the board of FSHS unit is elected by the Board of ISYY.
