The BRIDGES project also organizes day trips to nearby nature for students. This time we are heading to Kuhasalo in Joensuu on Tuesday 13.9. The Kuhasalo nature trail is located near the center of Joensuu, about three kilometers from the centrum.
Let's first gather together next to the Ylisoutaja bridge, at the intersection of Rantakatu and Papinkatu, at 3:30 pm, from where we'll set off one way towards Kuhasalo and its nature trail. In Kuhasalo's Kukkosensaari, the fish hut Kalmonkatiska has been reserved, where there will be a barbecue. Please bring your own sausages and other snacks if you feel like grilling. The hut is reserved for our use until 7 pm. The path leading to the hut is barrier-free, but unfortunately the hut is not barrier-free.
