The 15th Annual Celebration of the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) will be held 14 March 2025 in Kuopio, Original Sokos Hotel Puijonsarvi’s event space Puikkari. We warmly welcome all ISYY members and friends of ISYY to celebrate our Student Union.
The Cocktail Reception for invited guests starts at 4pm on Friday 14 March 2025 and the location will be informed via email to the guests. If you want to give a greeting at the reception, please mention this in the registration form dedicated to the invited guests.
The Annual Celebration will be held in Original Sokos Hotel Puijonsarvi (Minna Canthin katu 16), event space Puikkari, starting at 6pm. Please arrive at least half an hour beforehand (5:30pm) so we may start on time. The lobby bar will be open to serve guests already before the dinner.
The official afterparty will be held in Apteekkari (Vuorikatu 24). We'll be heading there at 11:30pm. Admission to the afterparty is included in the price of the dinner card.
For the dinner there are two main course options available: vegan and fish. Starters and desserts are the same for both menus and they are vegan-friendly. The dinner card does not include drinks, but our guests can purchase their preferred beverages at the venue. The dinner cards are priced according to the selected menu.
The dress code for the Annual Celebration is white tie or dark suit with academic decorations (e.g. medals, ribbons).
On Saturday 15 March we will gather for the Herring Breakfast at Lukema (Studentia-building C-door, Yliopistonranta 15) at 12pm. Herring Breakfast is included in the price of the dinner card.
For those who are coming to our Celebration from Joensuu, we are offering a bus transport to Kuopio on Friday 14 March and back to Joensuu on Saturday 15 March after the Herring Breakfast. This transport is included in the price of the dinner card.
Annual Celebration guests have the option to book hotel rooms at Scandic Atlas and Scandic Kuopio with a fixed price with a code EVNT. Please note that there is a limited number of rooms at the special offer price.

Please notice that invited guests must use the link stated in the invite.
Please use separate forms for each guest (e.g. for you and your avec). Registration is binding, and during week 8 we will send a confirmation email with information regarding billing to the guests. Registration for both members and invited guests closes on Sunday 16 February 2025 at 11.59pm.
