We know that many of you would like to meet Finns, learn Finnish and get to know Finnish culture during your stay in Finland. Also, ISYY wants to promote internationalisation at home for Finnish students. Hence, ISYY is organising a Finnish Friend hangout on Wednesday 15 March from 4 pm till 5.15 pm in classroom AU206 (Aurora building, entrance B) in Joensuu. ISYY offers small snacks for the participants.
The hangout in March starts a short pilot project of the new Finnish Friend concept in Joensuu and based on the pilot, the activities will kick off in autumn semester 2023 on both campuses. The pilot project in spring lasts till the end of May and the participants are encouraged to answer a feedback survey of the Finnish Friend concept.
The pilot project can include 30 Finnish students and 30 international students. Please sign up for the hangout by Monday 13 March by 23:59 via the Google Form below.
