ISYY is involved in the implementation of the Pride 2022 with Seta in North Karelia, and the BRIDGES project will provide an opportunity for students on the Kuopio campus to participate in Pride in Joensuu!
North Karelia Pride Week is celebrated on 16th-22nd oh May and on Saturday 21st of May is a traditional Pride procession and a park festival in Ilosaari. ISYY encourages all of its members to participate in the day’s program and wear student coveralls to form a rainbow. The program of the park festival includes picnics, live music and, of course, great company: ISYY has its own picnic area, which brings together all students. The first 100 students in the area will receive the Pride-Hemmo overall patch as a memory. In addition, at the park party at 5.30 pm, a joint photo will be taken on the stairs/auditorium in Ilosaari, where the student overalls form a rainbow. So craft your sign, put on your overalls and come and enjoy yourself with other students in Pride!

Registration for the excursion is open ib Kide.app from the 3rd to the 17th of May and is targeted at UEF students. Registration is binding, which means that a deposit of 10 € + a service fee of 0.4 € must be paid in advance for participation. The deposit will be refunded after participating in the event, the service fee will not be refunded. The deposit can also be paid at the ISYY's office, so contact the event organizer (contact details below) if you want to pay in the office. After the registration period, the deposit of the cancellation will not be refunded. The first 30 registrants can be accommodated and we will only travel by a full bus.
