Who will be the champion of North Karelia? The students of the University of Eastern Finland and Karelia University of Applied Sciences will face off in the Students' El Clásico football event on Saturday 9th September 2023 at Mehtimäki artificial turf (Mehtimäenaukio 2, Joensuu) starting at 1:30 pm.
You can come to the alcohol-free and free admission event to cheer on your team and test your own football skills. During half-time and after the match, there will be acticities and competitions for the crowd. In addition, if you have a student card, you get to attend the men's top two match JIPPO vs FC Kiffen at 4 pm for free.
El Clásico is hosted by the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) and the Student Union of Karelia University of Applied Sciences (POKA), and supported by the football club JIPPO and SYKETTÄ Joensuu University Sports Club.
