Coffee & Friends event offers low-threshold hanging out after lectures and the opportunity to meet other students over coffee and a snack. All students of the University of Eastern Finland are welcome to Coffee & Friends. You can come to the café alone or with a friend. In addition, Coffee & Friends has a changing chill program. Participation in the programme is voluntary and you can come for a while or for the whole time.
The café meets on Tuesdays from 12th of September forward at 3-5 pm at Lukema in Kuopio and at 4.30-6.30 pm at Aurora in the AU110 fireplace room in Joensuu. You can get to the fireplace room by walking from between the Aurora buildings to the backyard, turn left and continue walking straight to the end of the backyard. At the end of the road is the front door of the building that you can enter. The same door also leads to Aurora's gym.

5.12. Board games
Participants in the Coffee & Friends will receive an overall badge as a memory. Participation is free of charge and does not require pre-registration. The program is organized by Student2Student peer tutors and active members of ISYY's BRIDGES project. The campus chaplain and study psychologists provide background support. We accept development ideas and wishes about the program, contact information can be found below.
