The Application Period for ISYY’s Secretary General Has Been Extended Until 18.4.2022

The application period for the Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) Secretary General has been extended until 18.4.2022. The applications submitted for the position previously during 17.2.–20.3.2022 will be taken into account in the recruitment process. 

The Secretary General acts as the supervisor of the Student Union staff in an expert organization. The Secretary General is responsible for the organization and supervision of the administration and finances of the Student Union, and the management of projects and public relations. The Secretary General takes care of the preparation of the Student Union decision-making and the implementation of the decisions, and monitors the legality and regularity of the activities of the Student Union. The position requires excellent skills in Finnish and fluent skills in English.

The Secretary General will be elected by the Student Union Representative Council at its meeting on May 19, 2022. Hannele Mirola will act as Deputy Secretary General until the election.
