Would you like to take part in Räkäposkella event, but you haven't got your own team together? Register for the BRIDGES project's own Räkäposkella team!
Räkäposkella or Räkis, is a 12-hour skiing event organized by the Joensuu Forestry Students' association (JMYO) in Mehtimäki's Hullunkolmio (distance 1.6 km). Skiing takes place on a team basis so that at least one skier from the team is always on the track. Teams compete against each other in miles of skiing, in the best suits and fastest, and slowest lap times, and for the best team spirit. The event is on 23.2.2022 and starts at 7 a.m. and ends at 7 p.m.
In a team, you can take part in this fun event and at the same time meet new people in a good spirit, without forgetting, of course, the benefits of moving! The team is open to everybody and your skiing skill level doesn't matter. You can also borrow skis and ski boots from ISYY's office in Haltia building. In addition, you will receive your own overalls badge for the BRIDGES project to commemorate your participation. The team can accommodate max. 10 people. Registration for the team is free and ends no later than 16.2. at 3pm. After that we will be in touch via WhatsApp with those who have registered.
