Representative Council Elections - Campaigning Days for the Candidates

Candidates of ISYY's Representative Council Elections have the opportunity to campaign on both campuses at the times indicated below. Candidates do not need to register for the campaigning days separately.  There are tables reserved for the campaigning, which can be borrowed from the places listed below. Please return the tables back to the listed places once you've done campaigning.

Joensuu

Before the advance voting:

• 12.10. Metria at 10-14
• 13.10. Futura at 10-14
• 14.10. Carelia at 10-14
• 19.10. Futura at 10-14
• 20.10. Carelia at 10-14
• 21.10. Futura at 10-14

During advance voting and on the Election day: 

• 25.10. Metria at 10-14
• 26.10. Futura at 10-14
• 27.10. Carelia at 10-14
• 28.10. Metria at 10-14
• 29.10. Futura at 10-14
• 3.11. Carelia at 10-14

In Metria’s lobby, tables for campaigning can be found in a cart
In Carelia’s lobby, tables for campaigning can be found under the stairs in a cart 
In Futura’s lobby, tables for campaigning can be found in the stairwell next to the main doors.

Kuopio

Before the advance voting:

• 13.10. Canthia at 10-14

• 21.10. Canthia at 10-14

During advance voting and on the Election day:

Screens

In addition, ISYY has reserved screens for campaigning, to which election advertisements can be attached to. The screens can be found in the campus buildings of both cities as follows:

Joensuu:

• In Carelia lobby towards the library's and the restaurant's entrance, 1 screen
• In Metria lobby, 1 screen 
• In Futura lobby, 2 screens
• In Educa 2nd floor lobby, 1 screen 
• In Aurora's B-wing near the FSHS door, 1 screen.

Kuopio:

• In Canthia, in the main hall of 2nd floor, 3 screens
• (In Snellmania next to the restaurant, 2 screens) NB! The screens have been moved to the 2nd floor of Snellmania, next to the café.
