After the Student Representative's term has ended, they can apply from 1 to 3 ETCS's for the work they've done. For attending the Faculty Council's and Collegiate Body's meetings, a meeting remuneration is paid for the representative.

Join us in celebrating Valentine's Day with an energizing indoor cycling class!

Enjoy a heartwarming workout with your friend on Wednesday, February 14th, from 8 pm to 9 pm! We promise great music, sweaty moments, and, above all, fun together!

Sign up for the class by February 12th via SYKETTÄ sports calendar - you'll also reserve a spot for your friend! Your friend doesn't need a SYKETTÄ sticker as long as they are a member of the university community. If you're coming alone, send a message to Sports coordinator Tiitta at tiitta.raatikainen@savonia.fi by February 12th. We'll open up any remaining bike spots on Tuesday, February 13th.

UEF will organise a pop-up photo studio in the lobby of Snellmania on 14 February

Do you want to send photo greetings to your friends and family? Would you like to get photos of your fellow students and yourself to store in a box of memories? Come to our free photo shoot!

The UEF Communications and Media Relations will set up a pop-up photo studio in the lobby of Carelia on the Joensuu campus and in the lobby of Snellmania on the Kuopio campus on Wednesday 14 February 2024, at 11:00-13:00. You can have a photo taken of you and your friends, and the photo will be sent to you later.

We will photograph groups in the order of arrival, so no advance registration is required.

VR is now giving student discount for postgraduate students

Those studying for a postgraduate degree in a higher education institution or university are eligible for a student discount from 1 January 2024. VR will check your eligibility for the student discount by asking you to provide a student card. Frank has added the VR logo to their postgraduate students' digital student card. However, please note that the old plastic postgraduate student cards do not have the VR logo that entitles you to the discount so you should buy a new one or use the digital version.
