Supplementary Application Period: Student Representatives to the University Board of the University of Eastern Finland and Other Bodies and Committees

The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland is accepting applications for the following vacant student representative positions until the end of 2019:

• The University of Eastern Finland University Board, 1 representative
   
• The University of Eastern Finland University Collegiate Body, 1 deputy representative
   
• Faculty Council of the Faculty of Health Sciences, 1 deputy representative
   
• Fazer Food & Co Restaurant Committee, Joensuu campus, 1 representative
  - The Restaurant Committee meets some 5 times a year to set policies on e.g. Fazer Food & Co’s meal selection and marketing, and monitors meal sales.
   
• The University of Eastern Finland Board of Petition Appeal, 1 deputy representative
  - The Board of Petition Appeal is a university body in accordance with the Universities Act section 82. The Board’s function is to process the University’s internal decisions on grading and admissions.

Persons with a right to complete an undergraduate or a postgraduate degree in the University of Eastern Finland may apply to any of the above bodies. Persons who are more than half-time employees in the University cannot apply to University bodies as a student (the UEF Election Regulations section 2).
