Now is the time to raise the subsidy for student lunch!
Higher education students’ lunch subsidy is one of the best ways to support students’ well-being. A proposal has been made to increase the cost of student lunches by 0,46 euros. There is now a risk that the students will end up paying for this increase. The subsidy has been the same since 2013 even though the costs of production have increased steadily. The price of the meal has direct effects on the already scarce livelihood of students. That’s why we are demanding an increase in the meal subsidy now.
