Blood Donation Times in Joensuu and Kuopio During Summer

Need for blood products continues also during the corona virus situation. 

Blood Service of the Finnish Red Cross is open primaly for the donoros who have booked an appointment. Safety and hygiene measurements are being taken into consideration. Nearly 700 donors are needed daily!

ISYY has its own registered blood donation group, ISYY's VeriRyhmä. Please tell that you belong to ISYY’s VeriRyhmä when arriving to donate blood. ISYY’s VeriRyhmä can be found also on Facebook under the name “ISYYn VeriRyhmä”.

The current donation times for the campus cities are as follows:

Joensuu:

Thursday 4.6. at 13–17
Thursday 25.6. at 12–17

Location: Library, Muikkusali: Koskikatu 25, 80100 Joensuu.

Kuopio:

From 11 AM to 6 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays
From 10 AM to 5 PM on Fridays.

Location: Puijonkatu 23 (Sektori, 2nd floor), 70100 Kuopio.

NB! At the moment donation sites are open primarily for the donors who have booked an appointment in both Joensuu and Kuopio!
