Does your heart beat for graphic design? Do you want fame and fortune? Now we have a chance for you to shine! Let loose your creative self and design the cover of the ISYY Student Calendar for the academic year 2024–2025. The winning design will be the cover of our next student calendar, which will be available to collect in approximately mid-August 2024.
The Student Calendar is one of the best known services of our Student Union. Your design might be the cover of your friends calendar next Autumn and that way it gives joy to their every day student life. To us it is important that our calendar looks like our members.
Your task is to design the cover, so that the calendar will look like our members. Send the final design with your contact info (name, email, phone number) via e-mail to ISYY's Communications Planner no later than 15 May 2024.
Width: 109 mm, height 163 mm
Resolution: 300 dpi
Format: .pdf, .jpg or .tiff
Color profile: CMYK / ISOcoated v2 300
Bleed + 5 mm
Please keep in mind that the binding in the left side of the calendar covers approximately 15 mm of the design. Don’t design anything important to that area, because it will be cut off by the binding.
The logo of ISYY and the title "2024–2025" or "Lukuvuosikalenteri 2024–2025" or "ISYYn lukuvuosikalenteri 2024–2025" will be added to the cover. You can include these to your design by yourself or you can leave that for our consideration. In anycase, please also send us the version without those elements, unless they have a big role in your design. The logo can be found from the Documents-section of the ISYY website. The logo must be attached as it is, black or white, without any special effects or filters.
ISYY's Communications Planner and ISYY Board Member responsible for communications will choose the winning design by the end of May.
The winning design will be published as the cover of the student calendar 2024–2025. The design will also be published in ISYY’s social media and website.
The winner will receive a 100 euro gift card to S-Group (can be used in markets like Prisma and S-market, in restaurants, hair salons, hotels etc. that operate under the S-Group). The winner will be contacted personally via email. The user rights of the winning design will be forfeited to ISYY.
