Complementary Search: ISYY Is Seeking for Student Representatives to the Faculty Councils of the Philosophical Faculty, the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Faculty of Sciences and Forestry, the University Collegiate Body and the Board of Appeal

According to the Universities Act (558/2009) section 46, the Student Union’s obligation is to nominate student representatives to administrative bodies specified in the Universities Act chapter 3. ISYY nominates representatives also to other stakeholder groups.

ISYY applies student representatives to following administrational organs until the end of the year 2021.

The University Collegiate Body of UEF

• One vice representative

The Faculty Council of the Philosophical faculty

• One vice representative

The Faculty Council of the Faculty of Health Sciences

• One representative and One vice representative

The Faculty Council of the Faculty of Sciences and Forestry

• One representative

The Board of Appeal

• One vice representative

Persons with a right to complete an undergraduate or a postgraduate degree in the University of Eastern Finland may apply to the position of student representative or vice representative to the administrational organs. Persons who are more than half-time employees in the University cannot apply to University bodies as a student (the UEF Election Regulations section 2).
