Become a Student Deputy Representative in the Administration of the University of Eastern Finland

The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland is applying for administrative student representatives to replace the vacant student representative positions till the end of 2021 at the following university institutions:

• University College of the University of Eastern Finland, 1 deputy representative
• Faculty Council of the Faculty of Science and Forestry and units, 1 deputy representative
• Faculty Council of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Business Studies, 1 deputy representative

The student representatives of the administration are ordinary students, whose task is to keep the student's viewpoint in the university's decision-making even at the highest level and to bring a student perspective to the administration.

By acting as a student representative, you gain valuable experience in administrative work and decision-making. You will learn to collaborate with people in high decision-making bodies and you will learn how to administrate large organization. It is possible to apply for 1–10 credits after serving a term as a student representative in the administration. A meeting fee is paid per meeting.

Applications are requested to be submitted primarily by electronic application form by Thursday 8.10. by 12 noon.
