Apply to ISYY's Annual Celebration team by 9 February 2025!

Looking for something to do alongside your studies? Do you love Annual Celebrations? Do you want to be involved in implementing ISYY's traditions or even developing something completely new? If organising events is your thing and you want to be involved in making ISYY's 2025 Annual Celebration, this team is for you! Previous experience with ISYY is not required.

We are searching for around four members, who can also gather a larger group to plan and implement the activities. Previous experience in organizing annual celebrations is considered an advantage, but motivation and enthusiasm for the event are more important than experience. Please note that ISYY’s Annual Celebration will take place on 14 and 15 March 2025 in Kuopio, and team members are expected to be available on-site during those dates. The term of office of the team is 17 February 2025 to 31 March 2025.

What does the Annual Celebration team do?

The Annual Celebration team assists with preparations for the event and its execution during the anniversary weekend. Tasks include crafting and decorating the venue for the Annual Celebration as well as for the Herring Breakfast, helping with food preparations, and helping with post-event clean-up. Team members may also be assigned other tasks related to the anniversary. Team members get a free dinner card to the annual celebration. The ISYY board’s event coordinator serves as the team’s main contact throughout the process, and together with ISYY’s Community Coordinator, oversees the organization of the Annual Celebration.
