The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland
Tue Jan 28 13:00:00 2025
The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) has opened the application period for study points for the positions of trust 2024. According to the accepted education plan of UEF, a student can be given study points for participating in student association or ISYY club work, for acting in the administrative body or working groups of the Student Union, University or in another body of a cooperating organisation or for participating in international association or ISYY club work.
A student can be given no more than 5 study points for participating in student association or ISYY club work and no more than 10 study points for acting in an administrative body or a working group. However, a student can get a maximum of 10 study points (including the international association or club work) altogether from association or club work and administrative bodies or working groups.
A student can be given from 1 to 2 study points for being in the student association’s board or in the ISYY club’s board. Additionally, a student can get from 1 to 4 study points from their association or club work either by executing a big project (e.g. annual celebration) or for being highly meritorious in association activities. The study points are given in a way that 1 year in association or club’s board equals 1 study point, excluding the chairperson, who can be given 2 study points. The additional study points must be argued in the learning diary.
A student can be given from 1 to 3 study points from attending the administrative body or working group in ISYY, UEF, or in other cooperative organizations. The amount of points depends on the duration and responsibility of the position. More information can be found from Peppi.
A student can be given 1 study point for acting at least one year as a board member in a student association with the responsibility of international affairs or being in a board of an international ISYY club. This study point can be included in the Studies in Internationalisation.
