Our Facebook feed is filled with relevant content and networking opportunities for students, and Instagram is a prime spot for finding out what happens currently at the Student Union.
The ISYY website is the official ‘bulletin board’ of the Student Union.
Check out the website when you are in need of the most important and the most up-to-date information about ISYY activities and events. You can add our newsfeed to your favourite newsreading program using our RSS feed. Also, turn to the website when you need to contact us or are about to visit one of the offices - any changes to regular opening hours will be posted on the front page.
In the What’s on section you will find all the latest news, statements, announcements and calls for applications. Check the Events calendar to find out what is happening on and around the campus.
You will also find links to ISYY's newsletters and our social media channels feed on the website.
Weekly Feed Newsletters (and Wiikko-Ärsyke Newsletters in Finnish) are published once a week during term time. Both campuses have their own tailor-made newsletters. In the Weekly Feed we share information about ISYY activities, as well as other local events, job vacancies, traineeship opportunities and study-related news. Reading the Weekly Feed is an easy way to receive up-to-date information about what’s happening on and off your campus.
Look out for the ‘ISYY - Itä-Suomen yliopiston ylioppilaskunta’ page on Facebook. Follow this page to be the first to know about everything useful or fun related to ISYY and student life in general. In addition, you will be able to participate in competitions and win good prizes.
Individual event pages are created on Facebook for most ISYY events and theme weeks. Check out the event pages, together with the ISYY website, for information about ticket prices and detailed programme.

Follow the @isyyuef account on Instagram to see photos and videos of the life and times of ISYY and the rest of the student community. From the Instagram Highlights you can find up-to-date information, what is happening at the student union right now.

The ISYY YouTube channel contains video material related to the Student Union and from there you can also follow the live streams e.g. of our different trainings or Representative Council Meetings. The YouTube channel is called ‘Itä-Suomen yliopiston ylioppilaskunta (ISYY)’.
