Band Shifts for Autumn 2024

With this form you can apply for a shift at Studentia band rehearsal space in Kuopio for Autumn 2024. Application period is open until Sunday 18th of August at 23:59. Autumn shifts are valid from 1st of September to 31st of December 2024. It is not possible to apply for a band shift for a shorter period of time. Studentia and band rehearsal space will be closed on 6th of December and from 24th to 26th of December. Other possible exceptions to opening hours will be informed later if needed. 

Band rehearsal shift is max 2h/week. The shift always starts an hour or half past, not for example 13:15. Shifts are available from Monday to Friday at 08:00 - 21:30. On weekends (Sat-Sun) shifts are available at 9:00-21:00.

On weekends you can apply any two hour shift. On weekdays at 08:00-15:30 you can apply for any two hour shift. Weekdays from 15:30 you can apply only following two hour shifts

• at 15:30 - 17:30
• at 17:30 - 19:30 
• at 19:30 - 21:30

NB! On weekdays Studentia closing hour is at 21:30 and on weekends at 21:00. The last band of the evening must leave Studentia building at these times at the latest. So putting band equipment on their places, cleaning the band rehearsal space and returning the key is included to band shift. 

Fill out the form with following details:

• Name of the band (if there is no band name fill the name of the contact person)
• Name of the contact person
• Email of the contact person
• Is there one or more ISYY members in the band 
• One primary shift and two secondary shifts  

If more than one band has applied the same shift as a primary shift the secondary shifts are taken into account. Band shifts are primarily for ISYY members. If more than one band has applied the same shift those bands with ISYY member(s) will be priority. The price of the band shift is 25€/month + the deposit of the key 50€ if needed. The bands will be informed about the shifts and payment instructions at the beginning of week 34.
