ISYY has two venues available for hire in Kuopio: Lukema and the Studentia band practice room.
The Lukema facilities are located in the Studentia Building, adjacent to the Student Union office (Yliopistonranta 15, Entrance C, FI-70210 Kuopio). The facilities comprise of a large common room, meeting room and a kitchen.

ISYY’s official bodies, such as Clubs are able to book and use Lukema for free. However, any free bookings will be cancelled and a new date has to be found for the reservation in the case that a paying customer wants to make a reservation (at least two weeks before the date of the original booking) for the same date.
The reservation is binding, but it can be cancelled via e-mail up to one week before the date of the reservation free of charge. Any bookings that are cancelled less than one week before the reservations date will be charged 50% of the full rental rate, and bookings that are cancelled less than 48 hours before the reservations will be charged at the full rental rate.
Please check the availability of Lukema from the reservations calendar. NOTE: Only reservations made by paying customers can be seen in the public calendar.

Groups can apply to have a regular time slot at the band rehearsal space each week. Only Student Union members can get a regular time slot. These slots are allocated in August, December and May each year. The application periods will be advertised on the ISYY website.
One slot costs 25€ per month. The person responsible for the booking is also required to pay a 50€ deposit payment for the key to the space. When the band practice room is available, it is also possible to book individual slots at 7€ per session.
