What Student Union

The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) is an interest and services organization for UEF students, operating on the Joensuu and Kuopio campuses. All bachelor’s and master’s degree students at UEF are our members.

What Can ISYY Offer for You?

We look out for our members’ interests, organize leisure time activities and provide sports services via SYKETTÄ. We also offer our members a student community that you are more than welcome to join. With ISYY membership, you also gain access to travel and meal discounts and many other benefits.

The Benefits of the Student Card

The Student Card is an official proof of your student status. With the Student Card, you can utilize many valuable national and local benefits.

Events, community and sports activities

We spice up your everyday life with different student events and campaigns, and take care of your well-being with SYKETTÄ sports services. We also provide communal activities, such as Teams and Clubs, which you can join.

Exceptions

Offices are on a summer holiday 13.6.-2.8.2024. After holidays we are back at your service on Monday 5 August.
Offices are closed on Thursday 15 August.
In the beginning of autumn semester, offices are open on three Fridays, 30.8., 6.9. and 13.9. from 10 am to 2 pm.
